Obituary for Regina Waradzin (Chruney)
Regina (Chruney) Waradzin, 90, passed away on Monday, July 11th, 2022 in her Sinking Spring residence.
Born in Wilkes Barre, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Watlack) Chruney. Regina graduated from GAR Memorial High School. She worked in accounting and customer service at First Union Bank until her retirement in 2002.
A devout Catholic, Regina was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Church.
Regina is survived by sons Joseph G. Waradzin Jr. of Mohnton (Diane) and Michael F. Waradzin of Sinking Spring; six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard A. Waradzin; brothers Michael and John Chruney; and sister, Marie Podufalski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 18th, 2022, at 11:00 am at St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2600 St. Albans Dr. West Lawn, PA 19609. A visitation will be held at the Church Chapel from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, 650 Fritztown Rd, Sinking Spring, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ignatius Loyola RC Church, 2600 St. Albans Dr. West Lawn, PA 19609.
