Richard B. Beideman, 65, also known to many as “Dickie” passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, December 24, 2022.
Richard was a life long resident of North Coventry Township in Pottstown, PA and a devoted member of the Norco Fire Department. He was born to the late Allan and Louis (Grant) Beideman in late March of 1957. He graduated from Owen J. Roberts High School in 1975.
Richard went on to own and be the response manager of Initial Response Inc, until he sold the business in 2009 to travel to Oregon for a few months with his family to mine gold; a life long dream of his. He returned to become the Head of Grounds at Valley Forge Christian College in Phoenixville, PA where he retired from in February 2018.
Richard is survived by two brothers, William (wife Delores) Beideman of Bedford and David (wife Sue) Beideman of Boyertown. He will be deeply missed by his three children: Jason (fiancée Tori High) of Pottstown, Amy Beideman (fiancée Ian Taylor) and Meghan Beideman-Greiss (husband David) of North Carolina; grandchildren: Kali, Jayson, Brianna, Kensley, and Joie, all of Pottstown, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, an extended family and many friends.
The family is not holding a service or gathering until a later date.
