Obituary for Robert David Gelsinger
Robert David "Bob" Gelsinger 73, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023, in his Tilden Township residence with his loving family by his side. Bob left this earth to be with the love of his life and his best friend Toni who passed away three days prior.
Born in Wernersville, he was a son of the late Robert Wenrich and Salinda Olivia (Ochs) Gelsinger.
Bob was employed by Adams Outdoor Advertising as an Operations Manager for over 30 years.
Bob was a kind, loving, generous soul who would do anything for just about anyone. He was blessed with the ability to master any task to which he set his mind, whether it was his job; building his beautiful custom-made home with Toni; or raising their children. Throughout his life, he enjoyed the great outdoors, classic cars, his Harley motorcycle, and most importantly, his family, especially his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
As a classic car owner, he was a member of the South Mountain Rod-Kustom Club for many years.
Bob is survived by three children: Tracie, wife of Gerry Mercado Jamie, wife of Jason Schlenker, and Andrew Moyer; and four siblings: David, husband of Brenda Gelsinger, Judith, wife of Michael Stenseth, Randy, husband of Susan Gelsinger, and Rickie, husband of Rosann Gelsinger. He is also survived by eight grandchildren: Michael Smith, Christopher Dorsey, Jr., Brandi Moyer, Brittney Moyer, Anthony Strunk, Ciara Mercado, Alexander Mercado, and Kaley Schlenker; one great-grandchild, Sophia Lee Dorsey, and their beloved dog, Rolo.
A visitation will be Friday, March 31, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with services to follow at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave. West Reading. Burial will be private.
