Obituary for Robert G. Holl

Robert G. Holl, 75, passed away on December 8, 2022, in his Robesonia residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was the husband of Marsha G. (Schell) Holl. They were married on September 16, 1967 and shared over 55 beautiful years of marriage.

Born in Reading he was a son of the late Harold H. and Geraldine M. (Bauer) Holl.

A graduate of Muhlenberg High School in 1965, Bob served during the Vietnam War era in the U.S. Navy on the USS Saratoga.

He was a car salesman and sales manager for A.W. Golden for many years. Later he worked at Dick Horrigan BMW and VW in the same capacity.

Bob was a friendly and outgoing person; he loved everyone he came across. He enjoyed yard sales and never missed an episode of Gun Smoke. Most importantly he loved his family and cherished his time with his grandchildren and grand-puppies.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Tracy L. (Thomas) Visbisky, Leesport; Steven R. (Mary) Holl, Wernersville; and Brandi A. Holl (Kevin Quinter), Wernersville. There is one sister, Kathleen Biehl (Donald, deceased), York. Four grandchildren: Victoria Visbisky, Jessica Visbisky, Amber Holl, and Kaleb Holl also survive him.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. A prayer service will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
