Obituary for Robert Ziegler

Robert Keith Ziegler, better known as “Tuck”, aged 64 died peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. Tuck was born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania on February 6th, 1959, he was a son of the late Dawn Ziegler and Jake Douglas.

Tuck lived and attended all of his school years in Pottstown, PA and later in life moved to Reading, PA just before his passing.

Tuck started working as soon as he graduated from high school at Stanley G Flagg Company as a welder and stayed there until the plant closed down in 1997. Thereafter, he continued to work as a welder for various companies and also in construction until his retirement.

If you knew Tuck, he never really retired, he was always working or looking for something to keep himself busy. Tuck loved to hunt, fish and play golf. It wasn’t unusual to open up his freezer and see bags and bags of freshly frozen fish or wild meats that he caught and cleaned himself.

Tuck leaves behind four sons, Darnell, Rian, Jarrod and Brandon, one daughter, Ryanna and seven grandchildren, Nasir, Ayden, Chase, Peyton, Reese, Prynce and Amari; his siblings: Sharon, Michael, RyaAnn and Karen (Lady). Tuck also has an extended family of brothers and sisters within the Lacey Family on Chestnut St in Pottstown who treated him as one of their own.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 15th, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. at the Warker~Troutman Funeral Home, Inc, Pottstown. A service will follow promptly at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
