Obituary for Romi Malhotra (Kapania)
Romi Malhotra, 73, passed away on April 12, 2022 at the Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Satish Malhotra, with whom she shared 26 wonderful years.
Born in Noormahal, India, she was the daughter of Omprakash and Chandrani Kapania.
After high school, Romi worked at the Children's Home of Reading until her retirement in 2011.
Romi was fond of shopping and cooking, and loved to worship at the Hindu Temple in Allentown. She was known to her loved ones as a great, kind soul who would help anyone in need.
In addition to her husband, Romi is survived by her children: Nitin Puri, Gita Malhotra, Neha Kohli, and Anita Malhotra; and her siblings: Madan Kapania, Gopal Kapania, Baldev Kapania, Kamlesh, Usha, and Saroj. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Bhavika Kohli, Rishab Kohli, Tanishq Malhotra, Nitisha Malhotra, Manik Malhotra, Justin Puri, Mira Puri, Joshua Malhotra, and Alisha Malhotra; as well as a great grandchild, Mishka Arora.
Romi was predeceased by many family members: Shaktinath Puri, Brij Kapania, Omprakash Kapania, Chandrani Kapania, Shanta Puri, and Iqbalnath Puri.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory in Temple, PA.
