Gerald and family...Clay and I are so sorry to hear about Ruth. We remember her fondly from the Lenten Soup and bread suppers and seeing her smiling face when we rang bells! She really seemed to enjoy the bell performances and her smiles were so appreciated. Please accept our heartfelt condolences!!

I pray for the family. My first memory of Ruth was as my supervisor at RH. I always got along with her then discovered I was dating her nephew. We then got married. Ruth and I had many talks about him. Family was important to Ruth.

Saddened to read of Ruthie's passing. I've known Ruthie for as long as I can remember; mostly from Kleinsmith reunions. Ruthie always impressed me with her outgoing personality and kind word for everyone she met. When I was probably 12 or 13 (Ruthie was 9 years older than me and already a nurse), I jammed my finger and it wouldn't move. Ruthie was there in a minute, grabbed my finger pulled it hard and said, "it'll be fine now. You stoved your finger", then walked away before I could thank her. And my finger was fine. While we were not close I always admired her caring personality. My Dad, Robert Kleinsmith, spoke often of Uncle Walter, Aunt Edna and all in the family. He especially liked Ruthie because she was a great conversationalist. I don't believe she ever missed a funeral or viewing of a family member and she always had kind and empathetic comments that made you feel at peace.
Ruthie is now at peace and with the Lord; whole in body and mind and reunited with loved ones. While she will be missed, you can't ask for anything better than that.
