Obituary for Sharon Lee Orrs
Sharon Lee Orrs, 72 of Annville, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2020, with her family by her side.
She was the widow of Glenn Orrs, who passed away in 2013.
Born in Reading, she as a daughter of the late Michael and Lou (Cooper) Rose.
She was a graduate of Holy Name in 1966 and McCann Business School.
Sharon had a contagious smile and never left without saying, “I Love You”. She would go out of her way to help anyone in need. Sharon also loved reading, writing, animals, camping and reminiscing on old times.
Sharon and her husband enjoyed singing Country music, playing in a band and spending time with their two long-time friends, Jill McCulley and Tom Shaffer.
She is survived by five children: Brian (Heather) Yerger, Denver, Christopher (Denise) Yerger, Shillington, Michael (Rebecca) Yerger, Boyertown, April Orrs, Annville and John Orrs, Minersville and one sister, Jean (Richard) Yerger, Denver. Also, surviving are twelve grandchildren: Brittney, married to David, Colton, Breona, Kristina, Michael, Jr., Alliah, Samantha, Nathan, Cheyenne, Emily and Sammy; one great-granddaughter, Skyler; and her son-in-law David Witmyer.
Sharon was predeceased by her daughter, Janice Witmyer.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 24, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be private.
