Obituary for Shirley Landis
Shirley Landis, 88, passed away at her residence, the Heritage of Green Hills, on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Born in Tarentum, PA, Shirley was the daughter of the late Frank and Alice (Hill) Landis.
For many years Shirley worked for the Girl Scouts of America and volunteered with the Coast Guard Auxiliary. During Shirley’s time at the Heritage, she devoted herself to several committees.
Shirley is survived by her life-long friend, Mary Myers; her brother, Gerald Landis (Mary Sue Landis) of Lexington, KY; her niece Kathy Meyer; and nephews David Landis, Mark Landis, John Landis, and Matthew Landis.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her dear friend, Rita Blancata.
