Obituary for Suzanne G. Widdoes
Suzanne G. Widdoes, 83, formerly of Wyomissing, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, in the care of KeyStone Villa of Fleetwood. Suzanne was the loving and devoted widow of H. Brandt Widdoes Sr with whom she had shared over 50 years of marriage.
Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jay Donald Girard and Darthy L. Girard. She graduated from Lansdowne Aldan High School in 1957 and from Penn State University in 1961.
Suzanne worked as a dietician for the Colonnade of Philadelphia and later as an antique dealer.
She was a very knowledgeable gardener. Selfless, generous, and full of love, Suzanne will be remembered by all who knew her for acts of kindness. She relied on her faith throughout her life.
Left to treasure Suzanne's memory is her children, Rebecca Burkhardt (John) of Reading and H. Brandt Widdoes Jr. (Sylvia) of Marleton, NJ. Suzanne is also survived by her five grandchildren: Jessica, Stephanie, Heather, Brandt, and Carey; and six great grandchildren.
