Obituary for Theresa M. St. Mary
Theresa M. St. Mary, 93, of Wyomissing, passed away on September 9, 2022, at Phoebe Berks.
Her husband, Milton H. St. Mary, passed away on February 25, 1990.
Born in Ft. Kent, ME, she was a daughter of the late Cyrias and Veronique (Madore) Cote.
She was employed by St. Paul Insurance, Holyoke, MA for 20 years retiring in 1992.
A very religious woman, Theresa was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.
Theresa was a wonderful homemaker and mom. She was a favorite "Grammy" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, passing along her love to her entire family. Theresa's strawberry freezer jam is a recipe that has continued to her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and loved to dance and travel.
Her family was most precious to her. She was a devoted and loving wife for 37 years. Her survivors include her six children: Lee Gregory (Pamela) St. Mary, Lutz, FL; Linda A. (Lynn) Pribbernow, Hatfield, PA; Michael B. (Kit) St. Mary, Marstons Mills, MA; Bonnie M. (Edward) Irzyk, Hyannis, MA; Diane N. (Barry) Malloy, Wyomissing; and Paula A. (Jeff) Peabody, Osprey, FL; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one expectant great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by four siblings: Rayno, Nelson, Jean, and June.
A prayer service will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at 4 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. A visitation will be held from 3:30 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Childrens' Hospital. Condolences may be expressed at www.kuhnfunerahomes.com.
