Obituary for Timothy Alan Bowdy
Timothy Alan Bowdy, 64, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023 at his Hamburg residence.
Born in Elmira, NY, he was a son of the late Milton and Gail (Dilmore) Bowdy. Tim graduated Horseheads High School (Class of 1976). He was a confectioner at Hershey's for 25 years. After retiring in 2013, he enjoyed bartending at the East End Athletic Club in Reading until 2017. He was a die-hard fan of the Yankees and the Giants. Most of all, he loved his family.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Gabrielle Blessing, wife of Christopher, of Womelsdorf; grandchildren: Mason, Mila, Leland and Asher; brothers, John Michael Bowdy of Jacksonville, FL and Richard Bowdy, husband of Rhonda, of Makaha Valley, HI; and sister, Wendy Cooper, wife of Ron, of Frisco, TX.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 5th, 2023, at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc, 40 S 4th St, Hamburg, PA 19526 (formerly Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home). Friends and family are invited to gather at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
