Obituary for Todd A. Jones
Todd A. Jones of Wyomissing died Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at age 60. He is survived by his mother, Janice Jones, and sister, Kim Ensslen (Carl) of Reading. He is predeceased by father Donald Jones and brother Robert “Bobby” Jones.
Todd earned his diploma from Wilson High School in 1980, a business management, marketing, and mechanical engineering degree from Penn State University in 1987, and a degree in studio recording, music production, and live sound reinforcement from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in 2002.
His passion for music and sound led him to Flagship Music Productions at the Pat Garrett Ampitheater where he worked in artist hospitality and assistance in stage management. One of his most notable accomplishments was creating the Jamming for the Animals festival in honor of his brother Bobby that benefitted the Humane Pennsylvania’s Freedom Center for Animal Life-Saving (formerly known as the Humane Society).
Between high school and higher education, Todd studied computer operations with the United States Navy.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, with visitation at the funeral home starting at 5:00 p.m.. A celebration of Life will be held at Pat Garrett Amphitheater at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Todd’s memory may be offered to Humane Pennsylvania’s Freedom Center for Animal Life-Saving, 1801 N. 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604.
