Obituary for Ugo V. Zuccarini

Ugo V. Zuccarini, 93, formerly of Wyomissing, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2022, at Canonsburg Hospital.

His wife, Elvira R. (Restauri) Zuccarini, passed away on March 11, 2018. They shared over 60 loving years together.

Born in Rome, Italy, he was the son of the late Enrico and Marianna (Ferretti) Zuccarini.

Ugo was employed by Dana Corp. for over 17 years. He went on to pursue the American Dream by owning his own company, Ugo's Auto Center, in Reading for 20 years retiring in 1986.

He was a longtime and dedicated member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading, where he supported many church activities over the years.

He was the devoted father to married children, Thomas Zuccarini (wife Kathleen) and Marianne Albert (husband Joseph). His five grandchildren: Melanie, Melissa, Alexandra, Kiana and Colin were his pride and joy along with great grandchildren, Michael and Jackson. One sister, Rena Spaeth, Wyomissing also survives him.

Ugo was predeceased by one sister, Ivana Pantalone.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 28, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart RCC, with entombment at Gethsemane Mausoleum to follow. A viewing will be held Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Words of remembrance will begin promptly at 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
