Obituary for Vera Jane Werner
Vera Jane (Binkley) Werner, 95, formerly of Shillington, passed away on January 13, 2021, and is now with the Lord and reunited with her husband.
Her husband, Eugene Earl Werner, died in 1998.
Born in Shillington, she was a daughter of the late Edwin Pott and Jennie Edna (Griffith) Binkley.
She was a graduate of Shillington High School.
Vera was employed by Fairy Silk Mills, Penn Dale Knitting Mills and Gerber Children’s Ware, Inc. as a seamstress.
She is survived by five children: Deborah Joan, wife of Joseph S. Iswalt, Shillington, Jenlyn Alane, wife of Dr. Kevin M. Mosier, Parsons, KS, Cynthia Jane Haas, Etters, Diane Yvonne, wife of Gale S. Hirneisen, Gouglersville and Brent Eugene, widower of Mary Werner, State College. Twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter also survive her.
Vera was predeceased by four sisters.
Services will be Friday January 22, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
