Obituary for Victoria Ann Harle
Victoria A. Harle, 62, of Shillington, passed away in her home the evening of Monday, September 18, 2023. She was the loving wife of William T. Harle, with whom she shared 22 years of marriage.
Born in Lancaster to Lenoard and Judy (Appel) Messner of Lititz, Vicky met Bill while working as a traffic controller. She and Bill worked together for many years, and she retired in 2017.
Vicky loved the beach, and she especially treasured a once-in-a-lifetime vacation to Hawaii that Bill had won in a Reading Eagle contest. She was a devoted Eagles fan.
In addition to her husband and her parents, Vicky is survived by her son, Douglas Peters of Reading; her stepchildren: William Harle II of Reading, Thomas Harle (Heather) of Reading, and Judy Holliday of New Bern, NC; and her grandchildren, Trinity Peters, who resided with Vicky and Bill, and Timothy Dietrich of Reading. Vicky is also survived by her beloved cats, Cotton and Rusty.
Contributions in Vicky’s memory may be offered to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Rd, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Condolences may be expressed at kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
