Obituary for William J. Pringle

William J. Pringle passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. He was the husband of the late Judith (McCune) Pringle. They shared 32 wonderful years together.

Born in Johnstown, PA, to the late William and Anna (Frick) Pringle, he attended Johnstown High and was employed by Armour Meats and retired from Waste Management of Central PA in Harrisburg. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and Army National Guard.

Bill was always jovial and handy around the house, and willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed taking care of the yard and planting a garden. He loved music and movies.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Suzanne Youngblood and survived by his children, Eric Pringle and Danielle Shaffer of Johnstown, step-children, Jill Henry of Pipersville and James Loebrich and his wife, Diane of Charlotte, N.C., granddaughter, Riley Horner of Arlington, VA, sister, Roberta (Chris) Kovalik and her husband, David, and brother, Robert Pringle and his wife, Diane.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, at Grandview Cemetery, 801 Millcreek Road, Johnstown, PA.
