Mary A.  Vaccaro (Leone)
Mary Antionette (Leone) Vaccaro, 94 of Hyde Park, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at
Berkshire Center.

She was the wife of Santo A. Vaccaro, to whom she was married for 61 years until
his death in 2008.

Born in Reading she was the only daughter of the late Felice and Teresa (Corcetto) Leone and was predeceased by her four brothers Frank, Michael, John and Joseph Leone all of
whom she adored.

Mary was a dedicated wife and mother who also worked intermittently at Reading Clothing in the
1940’s, Talbotts in the 60’s and Mt. Laurel and Dew Fresh Canneries in the 70’s.

Mary was also a long time member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

Her extreme devotion was in serving those she loved, especially God and her family. Her greatest joy
was to have family and friends sitting around the kitchen table for “Spaghetti Sundays”. She made the
best homemade ravioli on the planet.

Mary is survived by her two children, Sandra Marie (Vaccaro) Kalbach, who lives locally, and Angelo
Phillip, husband of Karen (Froelich) Vaccaro of North Carolina. Additionally, there are three
grandchildren: Heather M. (Kalbach), wife of Mark D. Moser, Bally and Michael A. Vaccaro and
Matthew P. Vaccaro both of North Carolina. There are two great grandsons: Jackson Santo Moser,
and Luke Gilbert Moser both of Bally, and life long dear friend Phyllis Gogliuzza, the sister she never
had. Also, many special nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Chapel of St. George, 3139 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605. Burial will immediately follow in the cemetery. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
