Obituary for Bruce A. Berlin
Bruce A. Berlin, 96, a resident of The Highlands at Wyomissing, passed away Monday, October 2, 2017, in the skilled nursing unit.
He was predeceased by his wife Olga A. (Keeney) Berlin.
Born in Slatington, PA, he was the son of the late Roscoe C. and Sarah M. (Bowers) Berlin.
Bruce was a U.S. Army and Air Force veteran serving as First Lieutenant during both World War II and the Korean Conflict. During his service, Bruce received two bronze stars and a purple heart medal.
He graduated from Valley Forge Military Academy, Lehigh University, and Dickinson School of Law, 1948.
Bruce was employed as an attorney, general counsel, and vice president at Gilbert Associates for 31 years, retiring in 1985.
Bruce is survived by a step son, Bernard B., husband of Brenda Keeney, Sinking Spring, and one sister, Mary E. Benjamin.
