Obituary for Antonio Carlos "Lil Guy" Ortega, Jr.
Antonio “Lil Guy” Carlos Ortega, Jr., 16, of Reading, passed away October 17, 2017, in Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Born in Reading, he was a son of Antonio Carlos Ortega, Sr. and Hilary Doan, Reading.
He was a Sophomore at the Reading High School where he was a student at RKAA- Reading Knight Accelerated Academy.
Antonio was a beautiful, shy young man with a radiant smile who was looking forward to graduation. He was a fighter-fighting through many of his health issues. He loved sports especially basketball and music.
He was a wonderful, loyal friend to everyone.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by seven sisters: Xyanjaleese Ehrgood, Shydalae Ehrgood, Jaedalyn Ortega, Shendeleana Ortega, Shirenahlyse Ortega, Emalyse Ortega, Damani Ortiz and six brothers: Samuel Ehrgood, Nathaniel Ortega, Joelijah Ortega, Juvion Ortega, Jasiah Ortega and A’Jayone. He is also survived by his grandmother, Michele Ehrgood; his aunt, Margarita Ehrgood; his uncle Christopher Hoang, with whom he resided; his paternal grandparents; his maternal grandfather; and many other aunts and uncles.
Services will be Saturday, October 21, 2017, at 4 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Friends may call Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. in the funeral home.
