Obituary for David A. Beahm

David A. Beahm, 74, of Sinking Spring, passed away October 29, 2017, in the Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Beverly A. (Briner) Beahm who he married on August 28, 1965.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of Albert and Etta (McCoy) Beahm.

David was a 1961 graduate of Wilson High School.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.

David was a member of the family membership team at Beahm’s Bakery in West Lawn. A personal highlight of his working career was spent at Bethany Children’s Home in Womelsdorf. David then worked at Maier’s Bakery until his retirement. After retirement, he worked at Wawa in Wyomissing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children: Timothy D., husband of Tracy Beahm, Mohnton; and Gillian M. Beahm, Spring Twp.; two grandchildren: Daniel and Madalynn; and two siblings: Carolyn, wife of Marlin Tirpak, Tamaqua; and Dorothy DeAngelis, Missouri.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, in St. John’s Reformed Church, 4001 Penn Ave, Reading, PA 19608. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
