Joseph Campitelli, 90, of West Reading, died November 20, 2017, in his daughter's Bernville residence.

He was the loving husband of Betty L. (Busch) Campitelli.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Thomas and Assunta (Raffanelli) Campitelli.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Joe worked for Reading Railroad for 41 years retiring in 1989.

Joe enjoyed hunting and loved his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Dianne, wife of Walter Auchenbach; two grandchildren: Donald (Michelle) Auchenbach, and Amy (Steven) Del Collo; three great-grandchildren: Christopher (Amber), Joseph (Sarah), and Zachary; and three great-great-grandchildren: Nicholas, LiAnna, and Reed Auchenbach. There are three siblings: Mary Krug, Greenfields, Jeanette Gernert, West Reading and Thomas Campitelli, II, in Georgia.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Anthony and Steven.

Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, with burial at Forest Hills Memorial Park to follow. Friends may call Monday from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
