Shirley M.  Nertavich
Shirley M. (Eddinger) Nertavich, 82, of West Lawn, passed away December 21, 2017, in the Reading Hospital with her loving husband by her side.

She was the beloved wife of Stanley M. Nertavich, with whom she celebrated 63 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Bessie (Stamm) Shenk.

Shirley was member of St. Ignatius of Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

She was employed as a teacher's aide.

Shirley enjoyed photography, travel and fishing with her husband but most importantly she loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two daughters, Susan M. Rosen, Boston , MA; and Shirley M. Kondrath, Reading. She is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Shirley was predeceased by her son, Stanley M. Nertavich Jr., and six siblings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated January 3, 2017, at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius of Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2810 St Albans Dr, Sinking Spring, PA . with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
