Ronald J. Lombardo, 80, formerly of Reading, passed away in Bradenton, FL on Tuesday, February 13, 2018.

He was the beloved husband of Ruth (Blankenstein) Lombardo for 26 years.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Priorelli) Lombardo.

Ronald was employed 33 years as a production supervisor by Textile Machine Works, which later became Rockwell International, until he retired in 1993.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children: Edward, husband of Joanne Lombardo, Reading, PA, Joseph, husband of Lucinda Lombardo, Peachtree Corners, GA, Cindy, wife of Bob Stezzi, Binghamton, NY and Philip Blankenstein Jr., husband of Bonnie, Reading, PA. Ronald is also survived by his sister, Dolores (Lombardo) Seitzinger, Reading, PA. He was predeceased by his daughter, Raenette (Lombardo) Minicozzi, son, Ronald Lombardo Jr. and siblings: Joseph, Dominic, Edward, Katherine, Francis and Mary. Surviving are grandchildren: Christina, Matthew, Alexis, Marisa, Anna, Grace, Janet, Joe, Tom, Ryan, Christine and Kevin; and great-grandchildren: Addisyn, Matthew Jr., Nico, Nolan, Milo, Leo and Weston.

Ronald will be remembered as a devoted, loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather that will be missed dearly. The family would like to thank all his caregivers at Tidewell Hospice for their compassion and care.

A visitation will be held at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading on Friday, February 23, 2018, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., with a funeral service to follow. Burial will be private at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Lombardo Family Memorial Scholarship Fund, in loving memory of Ronnie and Raenette, care of Berks Catholic High School, 955 E.
