Elvera A.  Lamparella
Elvera A. (Pavone) Lamparella, 92, passed away March 19, 2018, in her West Lawn residence.

She was the wife of Michael G. Lamparella, Sr.; they were married on June 29, 1947.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Domenica (DeMarco) Pavone. She was predeceased by her birth mother, Elvira (Seliquini) Pavone.

She was a graduate of Overbrook High School in 1943.

Elvera was a founding member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield, where she was a daily communicant.

She devoted her life to her family; one of the best gifts she gave her children was staying at home to raise them. Elvera was a charitable, wonderful and beautiful woman, who will be missed tremendously by her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her one son, Michael G., Jr., husband of Sherry Lamparella, and her son, Jordan Endy, Sinking Spring and two siblings: Victor Pavone, Darby, PA and Christina Hogland, Manayunk, PA. Nine grandchildren: Eric, husband of Karina Almassy; Brian Almassy; Angela Scalese; Michael, III, husband of Paige Lamparella; Dr. Nicholas, husband of Jessica Lamparella; Julie Henry; William Chase, IV; Lauren Chase; and Marissa Chase; and four great-grandchildren: Colin Lamparella, Ian Lamparella, Luciana Lamparella, and Giada Lamparella.

She was predeceased by her two daughters: Diana Scalese in 2001 and Janice Chase in 2015; and her daughter-in-law, Lucille B. (Kennedy) Lamparella in 2005. Two sisters: Antoinette Ricci and Diane DiBello also predeceased her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 26, 2018, at 10 a.m. at St. Ignatius RCC, 2810 St. Albans Drive, Sinking Spring, PA 19608. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery will be private. Friends may call Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Ignatius RCC at the above address.
