Obituary for Howard Martin Miller

Howard Martin Miller
Howard Martin Miller, 76, of Wyomissing, passed away, Monday, May 28, 2018 in Reading Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of Priscilla A. (Powers) Miller.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Max and Rose (Kessler) Miller.

He was a graduate of Baruch College - The City University of New York (CUNY), and also earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School.

Howard never did practice law. Instead, he pursued a career in business. He founded and ran Rainbow Industrial Products, until he sold it in 2000. Too restless for retirement, he soon started another company, Rainbow Rubber and Plastics, and ran it until handing the reins over to his daughter, Emily, earlier this year.

Howard was an avid golfer. He was a very generous person and was loved by all who knew him. Howard lived a rich life and lived life to the fullest. He was a big man with a big heart, a true larger than life individual.

In addition to his wife Priscilla, Howard is survived by three children: Roger B., husband of Lori Miller, Manhattan, NY; Glenn B., husband of Katie Miller, Charlottesville, VA; and Emily A. Miller, Leesport. Two step children: Chris, husband of Kenna Bennett, Clark Summit, and Phil, husband of Krystle Bennett, Wyomissing: one brother; Robert Miller, Brooklyn, NY; four grandchildren; five step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and Lee Mary Miller, the mother of Howard's children, also survive him.
