Obituary for Betty V. Bowers
Betty V. Bowers, 92, formerly of Wyomissing, passed away June 6, 2018, in Laurel Center, Hamburg.
She was the wife of the late Harold G. Bowers, who died November 3, 2005.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Ralph C. and Edith I. (Eisenbise) Giles.
Betty is survived by her two sons, Barry L., husband of Pamela Bowers, Sinking Spring; and Dennis G., husband of
Roxie Bowers, Auburn, PA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Lynn C. Bowers; and four siblings, Robert C. Giles, Ralph C. Giles, Jane L. Boyer, and Mary Lou Sands.
A Graveside Service will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, 831 N Wyomissing Blvd, Wyomissing, PA 19610. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
