Margaret "Peggy" D.  Wickham
Margaret "Peggy" D. (Donoghue) Wickham, 89, of Reading, passed away peacefully in Phoebe Berks on January 30th, 2018.

She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas C. Wickham to whom she married in 1953. He passed away on March 3, 1997.

Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Cyril Joseph and Margaret (Kearny) Donoghue.

Peggy was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School, Pittsburgh; and graduated from Duquesne University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

She was a member of St. Ignatius of Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Peggy spent her life deeply rooted in her faith, family, and friends. Her greatest joy came from loving and lending support to people, particularly family, friends, and those in need. She was one of the original Eucharistic Ministers for Sacred Heart R.C.C. of West Reading, taking communion to the sick at Reading Hospital. She volunteered for BirthRight of Berks County, even serving as president for a short time. She was also a hospice volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital in Reading. Most recently, Peggy loved being a part of the Welcoming Committee and leading the Rosary Group at Elmcroft of Reading.

Peggy is survived by five children: Deborah W., wife of Thomas McIlhenny, Reading; Mary Ann, wife of Thomas Rohrbaugh, Newtown, PA; James D., husband of Lisa Wickham, Apex, NC; Thomas J., husband of Megan Wickham, Groton, MA; and Jennifer W., wife of Martin W. Kowalski II. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018, in St. Ignatius of Loyola R.C.C., 2810 St Albans Dr, Reading, PA 19608. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018, in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
