Charles “Chip” G. Noll, 76, of Temple, passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 after a brief stay at Reading Hospital. He was the son of the late Raymond W. and Katie L. (Keller) Noll.

Rest in peace Chip. Lost contact I suppose around when my grandfather, his father passed away. Chip is my 1/2 uncle and I purchased my 1st car from his car lot (1972) and was his lot boy one summer (1973) near FirstEnergy Stadium.

Chip was a great guy! I met him when my Dad lived in the mobile home park behind Manderbach. They would shoot the breeze for hours about cars and whatnot.

Chip had asked me once to fix his laptop. I did, and then a day later I was over at my dads and he came knocking on the door. He handed me his laptop and said “here, you keep this one, I’m just gonna buy a new one.” Nothing was wrong with his, he just decided to get a new one. As a matter of fact, I am using it now.

Chip was the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

My dad passed away a week ago so while I’m saddened of Chips passing, I happy to think that my dad and Chip can now get together and have their talks again.
