Lucille M. (Donato) Matyasich, 92, Reading, passed away March 19, 2018, at Elmcroft Senior Living of Reading.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Barratucci) Donato.

Lucille began her work as a bookkeeper for various local companies. Her longtime banking career began with Wyomissing Federal Savings and Loan Association as a secretary. Over her career, she rose to manage branch offices in both Berks and Lancaster Counties. She always enjoyed helping many local families acquire their first mortgage. Over the years, she spent many hours volunteering at Glad Tidings where she was very active in the children’s Sunday School programs as well as the Vacation Bible School. When not helping with the children, she would be volunteering in the canteen at Keystone Blood Bank. In her free time, she could be spotted “puttering” in her yard and playing with her dog.
