Obituary for Lynne A. Eckroth
Lynne A. (Ruppert) Eckroth, 65, of Reading, passed away April 21, 2018, at the Reading Hospital.
Her husband Kenneth R. Eckroth died on January 16, 1998.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John C. and Elizabeth V. (Marino) Ruppert.
She was a 1971 graduate of Holy Name High School.
She was employed by J&J Medical, Birdsboro for 20 years, last working on April 3, 2018.
Lynne loved to cook and bake. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends bragging about her grandchildren. She was a selfless person who was more concerned about others than herself. Lynne will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by two children, Jason J., husband of Alexandra Eckroth, Allentown; and Elizabeth J., wife of Calvin Turner, Arverne, NY. Two siblings, Joan M., wife of Jack Marten, Spring Township and Sharon, wife of Ken Sweigert, Wellsboro; seven grandchildren, Kevin U. Jackson, Kenneth R. Eckroth, Juliana K. Eckroth, Devon J. Eckroth, Leon A. Eckroth, Olivia K. Turner and Calvin aka Lil Cal Turner; and one expectant great-grandson. She was also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews
A viewing will be held Friday, April 27, 2018, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A service will immediately follow the viewing at 5:30 p.m., also burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
