Michael P. Mieczkowski, 60, formerly of Mt. Penn, passed away February 17, 2018.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late John A. and Rita H. (Miller) Mieczkowski.

He was a 1978 graduate of Pennside VoTech.

Michael worked for Threshold Rehabilitation Services in Reading. Most recently, he worked five days a week at Ageless Harmony, under KenCrest Services, in West Lawn.

He was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Mt. Penn. He was also a member of the Polish Falcons and Troop 407 of West Lawn.

Michael loved wrestling and enjoyed traveling. He loved good food; especially a good hamburger. He loved and adored his family enjoyed spending time with them. He will be truly missed.

He is survived by brothers: John M. Mieczkowski, Oley; Joseph E., husband of Christine Mieczkowski, Fairfield; Gary, husband of Marcella Mieczkowski, Greely, CO; Skip J. Mieczkowski, Mt. Penn; and David D. Mieczkowski and fiancee Annette Molnar, Laureldale. Michael is survived and adored by many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loving caregivers, Gul Raiz and Jeneita Harvey- Zafar.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catharine of Siena Chapel, 2427 Perkiomen Ave, Reading, PA 19606. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, February 27, from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, February 28, from 9:30- 10:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading.
