Condolence: I was so shocked and sad to hear about Cliff’s passing, and because I was out of town I was unable to attend his funeral. Cliff and I go way back to elementary school. We often walked to school together. He was such a good guy! I will always remember him as the boy who gave me my first box of valentines candy! Eileen, I hope you and your family are comforted by the many wonderful memories you made together. Cliff will live on in the memories of all of us who knew him.

Condolence: Eileen and family, my heart goes out to you, with all my sympathies. I was shocked to hear of Cliff's passing. He was a a good friend with a kind heart. He is already missed. William Shakespeare has lost one of his most ardent and discerning fans: "When sorrows come, they come not single spies, but in battalions." (Hamlet, act 4, sc. 5,1.).

Condolence: Whenever and wherever I met Cliff-usually on N. 6th. street- this extraordinarily gifted man exuded warmth and a real zest for life, often combined with humorous obsrevations about the state of our world.
In the early days when Cliff and I practiced law in the same firm he was the "go to guy" whenever difficult legal questions presented themselves. He will be greatly missed.
My deepest sympathy to Eileen and their sons.
